I know I bought a TiVo for a reason
Category Misc. RamblingsNow I've had my TiVo for many years. Count me among the converted. It's one of the original Sony units capable of recording for 30 hrs. max. It's been upgraded multiple times--from 30 hrs. to 110 hrs. to 200 hrs. to 240 hrs. It been networked and I now I can program it remotely and even have it splash Caller ID info on the TV. People say it all the time but it's changed my couch potato life. You all just can't know the happiness I feel when TiVo has recorded another episode of Lizzie McGuire.
I've always known that in order to keep the business afloat that TiVo collects data on viewer habits and it looks like in the bruhaha that is now known as "Boobgate" that there are a lot of happy TiVo owners.
